Mythical Circus

After showing my first drawings for my Mythical Circus to the group and receiving feedback I can see that I need to change the media in which I am working. This should help me to work in my own way, as in these early drawings I seem to be trying to make them appear in certain style which isn't my style of drawing.
I have done them all in pen so far with just simple lines. I think it is because of this simple working method which is almost holding me back when I'm trying to come up with my mythical characters. Tutor feedback helped a lot as I see now that I need to work in media which would be more appropriate for my with this task.

These early drawings seem a little boring to me and I think I will try to do more in collage and ink and see how they turn out. I want to get the rougher, textured look which from work from last year. By using collage of found materials and papers I hope my next characters will be more interesting and more like my own style of work.
