Summer project Part 2 : Circus Narrative

For the second half of the summer project I needed to create my own narrative based around a circus. My work on the circus needed to cover as many areas as I could to help build the story. The direction of the story and the media used to create it was up to me. I had to produce multiple drawings of people, places and objects which would feature in my narrative. These should be in a variety of scale, view point and media.

Film Drawings

 

Here is a selection of the completed drawings for my 18 frames of the film The Others. I think these came out well and I feel that I chose the best materials to do the drawings in as I added a little more detail than I normally would when using pen, in order to make them more appealing. Although the line drawings work well together I think I would have liked to do more in the charcoal and graphite. These were more interesting to do and help get across the dark and eerie mood of the film a little better than the simple line drawings do.
